Happy Are the Hungry
Matthew 5:6
Introduction: Ever been hungry? Ever been thirsty?
A. Someone who is hungry or thirsty thinks of nothing else
B. This beatitude has to do with ambition that is to
1. Honor God
2. Obey God
3. Glorify God
I. The Meaning of Hunger and Thirst
A. Intense meanings
1. To hunger and thirst for all of it!
2. It is righteousness; means that I am not just going to sit by
and do nothing and hunger and thirst until I die spiritually

II. The Manifestations of Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness
